'Secret Pool’ (Mossman River QLD) Oil on canvas framed in oak 54×54cm

Painted from photographs I had taken at Mossman River in Queensland, ‘Secret Pool’ was an exploration of dappled light and reflections. It was also an investigation into working with a limited colour palette, demonstrating how colour can play on various surfaces- rock, water and forest landscapes. The permanence of large boulders to create these natural pools that have no doubt been a sanctuary for many over the years.

Now showing as part of my Solo exhibition at Ondeen Farm for SALA festival. This artwork was created from photographs taken in Deep Creek Conservation park. Built up over many layers of foliage with unexpected pops of colour, this artwork celebrates the depth and layering of the Australian Bush landscape.

Artwork will be able to be collected after the conclusion of the exhibition (Sunday 31st of August). Shipping can arranged or free delivery within Adelaide metropolitan area.

Working across a variety of mediums, from watercolour through to oils, paper to walls, her artwork is primarily centred around the craving to be immersed in and highlight the details of the natural environment.
