'Dreamlike Awake' began as a study of the shapes of the indoor plants in my studio window. I was inspired to capture the light and movement of these shapes but then later wanted to incorporate details that might suggest a landscape. You could say that the piece is an amalgamation of a still life, landscape and abstract painting!
