Spend a full, creative day immersed in colour and landscape. In this hands-on acrylic painting workshop, Nicole will guide you step-by-step through building a landscape artwork from initial idea to finished piece.
Working from reference photos of beautiful local scenery, you’ll learn how to translate a landscape into a contemporary, abstract interpretation on a small canvas. Together we’ll explore:
How to sketch and break down your reference image
Planning composition and experimenting with palettes
Using texture, mediums, and layering to add interest
Nicole’s personal process, with demonstrations throughout the day
